murumuru butter. 

murumuru butter is the fatty part collected from the seeds of the murumuru palm tree, native to Brazil. It is rich in oleic acid, and is an effective emollient with moisturizing and smoothing properties, and helps to improve skin elasticity. when used straight, it melts on contact with the skin and retains moisture.

tsubaki.

Camellia japonica is a potent source of oleic acid, polyphenols, vitamins A, D, C, and E, and other antioxidants. with a composition similar to sebum, tsubaki is able to retain moisture and penetrate the deepest layers of the skin to help support the skin barrier and protect the skin from environmental damage.

bakuchiol.

bakuchiol is a concentrated natural active ingredient derived from Psoralea corylifolia. it has been shown to impart the benefits of retinol, but without the same degree of associated side effects. bakuchiol acts as an anti-oxidant, helps to stimulate collagen synthesis, and activates anti-aging genes. it is also effective in the treatment of acne and hyperpigmentation.

caffeine.

caffeine increases microcirculation and acts as an anti-oxidant to help decrease dark circles and puffiness beneath the eyes. 

hyaluronic acid. 

holding 1000 times its weight in water, hyaluronic acid intensely moisturizes and plumps the skin without clogging pores. low molecular weight hyaluronic acid absorbs easily into the skin to achieve long-term moisturization. it's been been shown to affect gene expression by promoting wound healing, skin regeneration, and cell proliferation and differentiation.

yes, this is a vegan crème.

will this crème get rid of my dark circles?

no cream or ointment can completely remove dark circles beneath the eyes as these occur secondary to a number of factors, including genetics, anatomy, and allergies. the caffeine in this product can however gently constrict the blood vessels beneath the eyes to make dark circles appear less prominent and decrease puffiness.

do I absolutely need to use an eye cream?

an eye cream is a lovely addition to your skincare regimen if you wish to address fine lines, dark circles, or puffiness. however, if your main concern is hydration, a regular face cream may be sufficient. 

how much eye cream should I apply around my eyes?

our eye crème is quite rich, and therefore just a small dab is needed to cover the entire eye region below and above the eye. each jar should last 2-3 months.

can men use this product?

yes, this product is safe for men.
