first layer: we are grateful

Every year, during this season, we give thanks. Thanks for our families, thanks for our friends, and thanks for the simple comforts of our lives that we tend to take for granted - a warm home, clothing, and food. Basic things that aren’t so basic for many in the world today. This is why we choose this season to make our annual donation to a humanitarian charity in an amount that constitutes 5% of our yearly sales. 

Like you, beauty has a conscience.

second layer: our anokha beauties

Beauty comes in many forms and carries its own layers. You’ll find mention of our anokha beauties throughout our social media; these women and men are you, with all of your layers of strength, grace, and humanity. We treasure and honor your layers with this brand, which reflects the deeply rooted beliefs that my staff and I also aim to deliver in my surgical practice – that all beauty resides in all of us, and that it’s our job to empower others to see and appreciate it.

third layer: transformation

2022 has been a year of growth and transformation for us, with several new retailers and our own laboratory located in the heart of Soho in New York City.  All formulation and manufacturing is now done in-house, which means that the products in your hands meet the highest possible standards and are typically created within one month of sale.

fourth layer: change is constant

They say that the only constant thing in life is change, and 2023 will certainly  demonstrate this to be true. There are some wonderful things in store for anokha, including expansion into the UK and the launch of our new line, anokha man. Some things will not change, including our commitment to thoughtfully formulated, high-quality luxury skincare with the most effective ingredients we can find, always backed by science. I hope you’ll stick around for the ride.
